What is Directory Privacy in cPanel?

A wonderful #security feature which allows #cPanel User to protect specific directories (& files in that) in their #hosting account. After user enable this feature for a directory, when visitors attempt to view that directory via a website, the browser prompts them to log in by giving user name & password.⁠
